Heh. There is SO much packed into those two sentences.
It’s pretty weird when you think about how extravagantly priced it was-- trying to sell into a world where the SL Mercedes and E-type Jag existed. What would cause you to buy an Avanti?

It’s different and if you want to stand out it works especially if you want American. My great grandpa did have Porsches but my grandpa bought a 69 GT500, he was in WWII and I can only guess he was only interested in American cars, my grandma had a huge Ford station wagon.

Cool, I just looked up the interior, which is nice. Interiors are a deal breaker for me.

The whole car looks fantastic. Then there ’s that front end. Just seems like someone gav e up. Slap on a Jensen Interceptor front clip, lower it, some si de pipes and it would be the bee’ s knees. I really just can’t get past the front end.
